- I would appreciate any help witht he following problem:
-
- My old Quantum LPS drive started acting funny last week. I started
- getting messages like "You have unsaved changes to your hard drive"
- for no good reason. Upon checking I discovered that HD Toolbox listed
- all seven scsi addresses as the drive (identical listings). I shut
- down the computer but upon rebooting my HD appeared to be gone. I went
- ahead and ordered a new Seagate 1480N well I cant get HD Toolbox to
- recognize this either.
-
- Any clues for me? Is this my scsi chip gone bad? I believe that I have
- the jumpers correctly set on the drive for address 6. You may reply
- direct to me or post here - I'll check.
-
- Sincerely,
-
